Package Description Mangalajodi is one of the larger of the 132 settlements that line the Chilika Lake's shores. For as long as the current generation of Mangalajodi village residents can remember, this marsh has served as a winter home for migratory birds. By the middle of October, these birds have arrived in the area.

Day - 1

Transfer from Bhubaneswar airport/railway station to Mangalajodi on Chilika Lake. After lunch, go to Mangalajodi village to learn the basics of building a fishing boat, stitching a fishing net, and weaving bamboo baskets. Take a modest nature trail through Mangalajodi's woodland, which includes a little trekking route, to see a variety of resident and migratory species. Mangalajodi for dinner and the night.

Early morning boat ride to the Mangalajodi Wetlands to see thousands of migrating and resident birds . Visit to Barkul near Chilika Lake after breakfast. View Kalijai Island and Nalabana Birds Island from the inside of the lake by boat. Back to Bhubaneswar after that. Bhubaneswar for dinner and the night

After breakfast, travel to Puri, stopping in Dhauli, Pipli, Konark Sun Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach, and Lord Jagannath Temple along the way. Then drive back to Bhubaneswar in the afternoon. Dinner and an overnight stay in Bhubaneswar are included.

After a hearty breakfast, visit a bird sanctuary, walk to an ancient king's hunting tower, and cruise through various streams on a countryside boat licenced by the Wildlife Department in search of crocodiles. Then it's off to the museum and the project area. Visit Kalibhanja Diha Island after lunch for a panoramic view of the Ramsar site. Enjoy Snacks and Dinner by the campfire in the evening. Sand Pebbles Jungle Resorts is where you'll spend the night.
